Mooncup review part 2.

I posted on Friday about the mooncup and that i was going to keep at it as it was alot better than pads/tampons, well i know it is still only like 3 days but i am still using it, it is so comfortable you don't realise its there, i haven't had any leaks yet (i did wear a liner in bed just in case on the first night but i didn't need to) and all in all i am very happy with it, normally i would have to go to the toilet so many timed day and night to change the pad as it had leaked or the tampon because it had slipped but i don't need to go any more then i would when I'm not on, it is great, it is like a tampon where you can wear it for up to 8 hours so it lasts through the night and on researching it i found that people have been using a type of cup since the 1930's and there are no known cases of people dying from toxic shock syndrome while using them so it is so safe if you forget to empty it, the most you may get is for it to be a little bit full when you do change it but now i know most people don't want to hear this but i have been known to have very heavy periods and so far in the past 3 days it has never been over half full. I think on the net it said something about it was made to carry the same amount as the whole of an average periods worth of blood, so unless it is a very heavy flow then i shouldn't think you would fill it. In conclusion i am all for it and i will not be going back to pads or tampons.
